Great place for a few days relaxing if you've been backpacking about Borneo. Facilities are a bit dated but well designed, the pool is clean and the deluxe chalets have all the basics you need to make the most of a poolside chill out

The food is pretty basic western fare and vegetarian options are very few. The beach is dirty. Staff get quite distracted when the owners are having a gathering in the beachfront entertaining area.

I stayed one night at Langkah Syabas Beach Resort and was very pleased with the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful beach view. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with basic amenities. The pool and resort grounds were well maintained, making it a nice place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Even though it was just a short visit, it was a very pleasant experience.

I had a lovely 8 days here. Good room great food and very nice friendly staff.

Room need makeover. shower head needs to be changed, water quality is bad, yellow. bedroom towels need to be changed they look very old. air conditioner is hot and leaking. A/C compressor making noise whole night ??. the restaurant and food is great but not the breakfast. they should close the breakfast because i saw flies crawling on the food✌️ place is relaxing and clean

Staff is very lovely. Swimming pool is great and private houses are very cute and comfortable. Good deal for the price. Restaurant food is good. 15 min drive from the airport in low traffic time. Beach is a little dirty with garbage that washes up from the ride, but the staff clean it regularly which is great.

The chalets were so clean and comfortable. They looked like they have just been painted. Nice over looking the pool was so peaceful.

This is a lovely old fashioned property, very well situated, that allows for rest and recuperation. The owner and his wife live on site and are very friendly, working hard to keep up the quality of past glory days. The menu has Australian and Western dishes as well as local ones, all well cooked and tasty. To be offered good quality toast, butter and Dalfour jam for breakfast was a real treat. There is an extensive wine cellar and draught beers. We were upgraded to a sea view room, a very kind gesture as it was so lovely. The owners have plans for some renewals to keep up their high standards. There are beautiful sunsets if the weather is clement.

We were advised not to swim in the sea because of the jellyfish and rubbish on the beach, although the resort did clean the beach daily. There is not much to see in the locality around the resort. (There is a local bus to KK that stops outside.)

A lot of debris on the beach, some sharp objects like rusty cans. Require attention

Room was spacious for the affordable rate. Beds were cozy. A small fridge available in the room. Non-smoking room, with front porch and a set of table and chairs. Our room was right in front of the swimming pool. We stayed on weekdays, there wasn't many other guests around, so we had the pool all for ourselves for hours. We needed an iron, and the staff send it to our room with the ironing board. Free car park, Breakfast was also freely available for guests. A small beach attached with the property. No traffic noise despite situated by the main road.

No wifi (at least it wasn't working during our stay there). Thin walls, we could hear people staying next door. TV channels were all blurry. Bathroom no exhaust fan. Bidet was installed on the left side. Lots of mosquitoes. Property location is far from shopping and eateries. Older properties comes with older furniture. There was some old strand of fabric eerily protruding out from beneath the bed. Housekeeping should pay attention to those things.

Room 19 was my favorite! Private room with back terrace and pool for the 6 terraced rooms. Views were wonderful and hospitality was all you could want! Also offered lower rates for rooms with small porch overlooking another pool. Great breakfast included!

They gave us a free upgrade, which wassss wonderful for our short stay!

The bathroom had a smell that it hadn't been cleaned, even though it appeared tidy and clean; the odor of urine was overwhelming!! We decided not to change rooms since we arrived late at night and were only staying for one night, so we just put up with it :(

Location was gorgeous. Much netter to go from KK airport first to this place than to start in KK city. Great spacious rooms with exceptional view. Also from the terrace. Very comfortable. 2 nice pools. Restaurant also nice view. Staff very helpfull. Bed bit hard like normal in Malaysia, but very comfortable. Both fan as AC.

Some things looked a bit old and there was a little bit of mold in the shower, but for the price not a problem.

Nice view, staffs were friendly and very helpful, got a bit issue with the room when we checked in but they solve the issue immediately. I loveee their breakfast too! This is my second time here, of course there will be third and more family times here! ???

The location is perfect and I can see why people come here for weddings. I witnessed one the best sun sets of my life from the swings. Nice restaurant and bar. Large rooms and spacious. Was given an upgrade and all. Very impressed

If i had to look for problems as the place as it generally was good. Dated exterior and Bar not open till 6pm

Staff were lovely - very polite and helpful.We were given a room upgrade on arrival - a lovely surprise - to a beach front bungalow with use of a great swimming pool that was really clean. The room was very spacious and clean with great AC, and quiet too. The bed was really comfy and all the linen and towels clean and soft.

Our last morning - the breakfast was cold, which was disappointing.The beach was covered in rubbish - which was so sad because it is such a beautiful location. I know it washes in from all over the place, but a clean up of the beach each morning in front of the hotel would make it more appealing. It is called a 'Beach Resort' - but I definitely did not spend any time on the beach!Also - although there appeared to be many WiFi options around the hotel - only one worked when in the restaurant area.

Upgrade to units facing beach with own pool made this visit special. Other units are farther away and have their own pool. Food was excellent and varied. Nice wine cellar!

Owners can not change the fact that the water is very shallow off the beach. When the tide goes out, you can walk to nearby island! But view is spectacular.

1. A few choice of TV programme and battery for the remote is missing. And there is any continuous error on TV regarding over current.2. Cover at toilet damage. Hope to maintain more regarding maintenance in toilet.3. Not much choice for breakfast

Booking with booking.com is cheaper than booking directly with hotel.
